Mr. Sam Schneider, President of CIO Options, has over 35 years’ experience in senior level IT management in a variety of organizations primarily within high-growth, rapidly changing environments. Over the course of his career Mr. Schneider has been responsible for developing and implementing IT strategy at software companies such as EnterpriseDB, established publicly traded multi-national companies such as Proteon and Cognex, “start-up” companies such Achievement Technologies (an educational software company where he also served as CTO and was also responsible for product development and support), I4Commerce (acquired by eBay) and EqualLogic (acquired by Dell Computer) and non-profit organizations (MSPCA/Angell Memorial).
Mr. Schneider started his career working in the manufacturing function of Computervision prior to moving into the IT function, and much of his career has been spent working in high tech manufacturing/supply chain and software development environments. Both as a consultant and as a “hands on” in-house resource, Mr. Schneider has led multiple ERP, CRM and enterprise level financial systems evaluations and successful implementations. These packages have spanned a wide variety of technologies and vendors (e.g. Oracle, PeopleSoft, Salesforce.com, Seibel, and NetSuite, among others.).

Mr. Robert Stack, Partner at CIO Options, has over 30 years of executive experience, working in high technology, life science and government sectors. During his career Mr. Stack has led technology organizations spanning the America’s, Europe and Asia / Pacific with responsibilities for Information Technology strategy development and operational execution. He has been the technology lead on numerous mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Stack began his career at Lotus Development Corporation where he rose to be Senior Director, Worldwide Systems & Operations overseeing global infrastructure and systems. As Vice President, Chief Information Officer of both NMS Communications and MorphoTrust USA he led the redesign of internal systems including CRM and ERP along with the underlying infrastructure required to support the expanding companies. As Senior Vice President Product Development & Technology at Adheris Health Bob was the executive in charge of product direction and oversaw all technology decisions and regulatory compliance.
Earlier in his career Mr. Stack was Senior Director for Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Director at Biogen idec both multi-billion dollar life sciences corporations, where during a periods of explosive growth he was responsible for solutions engineering, infrastructure design, high performance computing and global applications.
Bob also served as the first Chief Technology Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where he was responsible for standards, architecture and data security. He is the author of the Commonwealth’s Open Source / Open Standards policies. He was appointed a member of the “Technology Advisory Board” in 2004 by the Governor of Massachusetts.

Mr. Paul E. Blondin, has 30 plus years of experience as a senior financial executive, CEO, corporate board member, and investor, serves as an advisor to CIO Options. He was most recently SVP and CFO of EnterpriseDB Corp., a software and support enterprise in the PostgreSQL database field. Immediately prior to that, he was Managing Director of KickStart Partners, LLC, a business advisory group to Private Equity investors and CEOs, with a focus on corporate governance, business triage, financial stewardship, mergers and acquisitions, business development and leadership mentoring.
